#78 Global Bird Weekend with Tim Appleton MBE
In episode 78, I speak with Tim Appleton MBE, co-founder of the upcoming Global Bird Weekend.
He tells me how this event, to be held on October 17th and 18th 2020, encourages people of all levels of experience to watch and listen to their local birds.
It is hoped that the weekend, which already has the involvement of birdwatchers from over 100 countries, will break records for both the largest number of people participating, and the largest number of species recorded, in one birdwatching event.

On October 17th and 18th 2020, the inaugural Global Bird Weekend will be held.
Co-founder Tim Appleton MBE tells me how this event will bring together birdwatchers from over 100 countries, encouraging people of all levels of experience to watch and listen to their local birds.
