This Episode
In March 2020 life has suddenly changed for all of us.
The COVID-19 Pandemic has meant the closure of parks and reserves, self-isolation and social distancing.
The first part of this episode talks about some of the things we can do to stay in touch with nature and ideas for those who might be casual birding for the first time.
There's an update from @wegobirding about the #COTF Champions of the Flyway challenge, and Heidi from Vibrant Visionaries and Zoe from Tea and Strumpets podcast tell us about the birds they’ve seen.
The Last Call segment features a recording of the Dawn Chorus made from my suburban garden in Hampshire, UK on the 19th March, between 7 and 7:30am.
It was drizzling with rain and so you will hear some drops of water falling from a nearby roof, and there is the occasional rumble of traffic.
The main birds heard are Blackbird, Robin, Song Thrush, Dunnock and Wren.
